George John 711

George John married Elizabeth Casson in Southery in 1883. Elizabeth’s parents are William & Sarah Casson, and presumably she is the sister of Sarah Casson, the wife of George’s brother William Marshall. George must have been in South London from 1885-92 where four children were born, yet he was also in Ipswich in 1901, presumably as part of the Gotts & Cubitt business. Their children were:

• Mabel Elizabeth 1309 b 1885 Lambeth possibly married in 1907 West Ham
• Grace 1308 b 1887 Lambeth
• Cristobel 1307 b 1890 Bromley possibly married Percy W Leach in 1913 West Ham
• George William 1310 b 1892 Bromley. George William appears to have been a vicar, but no records confirming this have been found.
• Frederick Herbert 1532 b 1896 Norwich, possibly married Maude Leach in 1832 in West Ham
