Eliza Bessey Gotts is in the marriage index in 1888 March quarter, as marrying in Flegg, ref 4b 67. This is different to Bessie Eliza Gotts, who married in Flegg, in 1888 December quarter. ref 4b 92. The latter married John Philip Long, but does anyone know who the former married, or when she was born?
Luke Gotts & Martha Roberson who married at Great Massingham 3 October 1682
Several generations of GOTTS with forename Luke throughout 18th century at Grimston, Colkirk, Brisley and Great Ryburgh, culminating with the burial at Aylsham of Luke GOTTS 23 April 1843 aged 72, whose Will makes reference to properties in and around Great Ryburgh. Of particular interest is William bp Great Ryburgh 30 January 1720/1, son of Luke and Elizabeth GOTTS.
Samuel & Sarah Gotts Swannington abt 1730
A Gotts family lived here for twenty years. No trace has been found of Samuel and Sarah beyond the recorded baptisms of their two sons and three daughters:

Thomas Gotts/Gottze- Cromer born abt 1827
Thomas Gotts (Tailor) m Eliz Hart 1852 in Cromer. Thomas's father is Samuel Gotts alias Bramble, and his mother was Ann Keeler. Samuel's mother was Susanna Bramble, so who was his father, presumably a Gotts.
