Charles Robert 704 in Aylmerton
Charles Robert 704 married Maria Jane 2256 Rix in 1874 in Erpingham district. After she died in 1892 he married Christiana Emily 2257 Bacon in 1897 in Aylmerton. Charles may have been gardener to Lord Hastings near Cromer. Charles Robert and Maria Jane had two children:

Charles Robert (known as Bob) left home to beome a sailor, and eventually settled in Australia about 1909, where he married first Alice Harriet 2684 Bacon, then Irene 2754 Stallard. Charles and Alice had a daughter Maria Rix Gotts, and Charles & Irene's four children grew up in Australia.
Charles was an accomplished amateur photographer who has 50 pictures which can be seen at the National Archive of Australia website.
